My wife, Aisha Omar-Cimon, is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. She works as a human resources professional, specializing in diversity and inclusion. We've been together since 2015 and got married in the summer of 2020.

I'm an avid hiker, snowshoer and indoor rock climber. My favourite hikes were in Kluane National Park in the Yukon. I keep telling myself that I'm going to start camping more often. I used to be a pretty bad runner and now I'm a very bad runner.

I've been downhill skiing most of my life. Some of the best hills I've been to are Marmot Basin (Alberta), Jay Peak (Vermont), Le Massif (Quebec) and Big White (BC).

I'm a certified SCUBA diver (PADI AOWD), and have recently been diving in Hawaii, Jamaica, and Mexico. My favourite diving experience was swimming alongside green sea turtles off Honolulu.

I've been a vegan since the summer of 2019. I'm a licensed Private Pilot and fly Cessna 172s.
